Overview
A short and dynamic virtual reality experience that immerses people in the values of a territory in an engaging way.
La sfida
To innovatively showcase the Sinis Peninsula in Sardinia at trade fairs, sparking visitors' curiosity through a collective message that reflects the shared values of ten organizations. With resilience, they develop the tourism potential of this remote and still little-known place while preserving its authenticity.

La soluzione
A virtual reality "business card" that takes users through diverse and contrasting sensations, offering a powerful promotional tool at trade fairs. The experience immerses them in narrative, sensory, and emotional moments that celebrate the history, culture, natural landscapes, archaeological heritage, gastronomy, and craftsmanship of the Sinis Peninsula in Sardinia.

Il progetto
The Sinis – Your Secret Experience in Sardinia project offers a unique opportunity to convey the
emotions of a real journey through the Sinis Peninsula. While traditional tourism allows for physical
exploration, virtual reality enhances perception with immersive narratives and sensory
suggestions that go beyond mere observation.
At the heart of Sinis VR is not just the reproduction of reality, but the emotional engagement of the
user, guiding them to rediscover the contrast between daily frenzy and the regenerating silence of
Sinis, making them an active protagonist of the journey.
This innovative promotional tool overturns traditional communication paradigms, freeing the user
from content overload and allowing them to explore freely. An approach in harmony with an
authentic land, revealing itself only to those who know how to connect with its ancient heartbeat.

Inside the experience
By wearing the headset, users access a 3D virtual platform
(6DoF) for an immersive journey through the Sinis Peninsula.
The experience begins in a hectic office, encouraging the
user to slow down and take an active pause. They will control
the experience with their hands, which hold the magical
power to attract objects and accept the invitation of a virtual
key—offered as an escape from the frenzy—a guardian of
Sinis' secrets.
This key, both guide and inspiration, unlocks doors to
natural, archaeological, and historical landscapes. From the
harmony of art, music, and nature at the Parco dei Suoni in
Riola Sardo, to the tranquil beauty of Cabras Lagoon, where
land and water meet, each setting is enriched by ambient
sounds and voiceovers. The user will immerse themselves in
a space of calm and discovery, deeply connecting with the
land’s energy.
Throughout the journey, glowing elements will reveal the
stories of ten local organizations—promoters of the
project—that the user can draw closer to, uncovering their
secrets. At the end of the experience, the virtual key will
become physical, placed in the traveler’s hands by an on-site
operator, leaving behind a tangible memory of a journey
between the real and the metaphysical.
A unique experience, offering a momentary escape from the
hustle of the trade fair and sparking the desire to truly
experience Sinis.

About the design
The Sinis VR experience offers interaction with the numerous
distinctive elements of a territory, all condensed into a single
immersive journey. Users can not only quickly and practically
discover the wonders of the territory, faithfully recreated,
but also dive deeper into the individual realities that make it
unique through the use of Hand Tracking. This technology
allows users to interact with the virtual environment without
the need for physical controllers, using their own hands,
enabling a natural engagement and making the experience
more dynamic and personal.
